Professional Information

Learning Goals and Needs

We want you to feel comfortable and safe in this training. We also want to set the right expectations so you can get the most out of our unique approach to working with trauma.

Please note that this training is highly experiential and requires students to be open and curious to explore their own personal experiences and willing to engage in somatic practices, including movement and breathing practices. The learning is multi-disciplinary and will require small group learning and sharing. We expect students to be compassionate and inclusive of others about their experiences and be willing to examine one's own bias’s.

While your personal trauma stories might be relevant for learning about trauma from the inside out, this training is not a substitute for trauma therapy, and we highly encourage you to have the outside support of a trained mental health professional.

To receive a certificate of completion, 80% attendance is required.

Scholarship Form

We are committed to making our training available to underrepresented groups such as People of the Global Majority, LGBTQIA+, military service members, veterans, first responders, persons with disabilities, and those experiencing economic marginalization.

As a nonprofit, we have a limited amount of scholarships available. We respectfully ask for your transparency in completing the scholarship questions. Our goal is to make our programs as accessible and equitable as possible while stewarding the financial health of our organization. Scholarship amounts are based on the regular registration price, not the early registration price.
